i just got my turbos rebuilt out of my 96 rx7tt, i went to pick the car up but first i went four i drive and there was verey little boost and it was smoking heaps of white smoke, the guy at the shop thinks it leaking oil from the turbos into the exhaust, as there is no oil in any of the other pipes we look at, any ideas if it could be anything else.

any help please

Agreed. I doubt if its leaking oil into the exhaust.

i know its the turbos, they are taking them back out to send them back to turbochargers to get rebuilt again, as they did not do it right the first time.

thanks.

im going to get the car cooling checked as it boils when u stop driving, all the temps are fine, but u can hear it boil.

where are you basing your water temps from?

how far into the drive did you get a lot of smoke? when you start it? or after the car is fully warm, and when you get on it?

ive got a gready water temp and the factory one, it boils after a good drive. The turbos were blowing a little bit of white smoke when i started it up and then it **** out when i went down the road, but we think the guys at the turbo shop just didnt rebuild them right in the first place.
