Four months she was off the road. Cursing myself- why do I have to do this? Sitting there forlorn and immobile, engine bay empty.

The more I looked, the more things needed doing. Rebuilt motor. Rebuilt and hi-flowed a S5 turbo. New gearbox. New clutch. New 3 inch exhaust. Thousands of dollars mssing from my bank acocunt, nothing to show for it!

Frustration turns to anger, then anxiety- have I done everything right?

D-Day comes- time to start up. Anxious moment. The crowd has gathered expecting a show. Will she start?

Turn the key..... she runs!

Drive her around, all is good again. The sun is out, birds are singing (I guess although can't hear them over the zorst... ). Remember what a fantastic car the FD is!

Life is good.

Might even be nice to the wife again.

Guess alot of you guys can empathise with me here, huh?

Goddammm!

The HURLEYS?

I've got them in mine, but so far so good...starts first crack every time, excellent compression by the sound of it.
