[quote name='FikseRxSeven' date='Aug 22 2005, 02:23 AM']twin plate has 2 clutch discs 4 friction surfaces, and triple plate has 3 discs with 6 friction surfaces

usually the more plates you have the more you can afford to lose on the diameter of the clutch... smaller clutch= less weight=more power to the wheels. more plates=more grip= lots of loot

yep and also the more power you got than the more of a heavy duty clutch you need to handle all that power and prevent clutch slippage

An ACT 4-puck or even 6-puck would be fine if you're looking for something to support 450rwhp.

^I would second this if he wasn't going over 350 hp. It's what I have and I love it. But it really is just an upgraded version of stock and I doubt it would hold that kind of HP very long.

I'm planning on getting an Excedy twin plate...those that have experince with these, can you tell me how streetable these are?

I know this may be overkill but I don't want to have to worry about a clutch slipping and I'm not going to be driving the car everyday anyway.
