Okay.....I have been doing some research on my car. And I am trying to get this thing running right. It runs good but only when it want's to. So!......I have been reading the manual like crazy and think I found a problem. Every Symptom I have can be solved by checking the slenoids valves. It lists a couple though.....(lock up) (lock down) (Shift A) (Shift B)

Or of course........My favorite. The damn TPS.

So my first question is. Where are these solenoids. Second....How can I fix them? Am I still cold on trying to find my problem?

pretty sure you are talking about your TCA, since its a boost related problem. doubt it that its your TPS.

Their are alot of pages.....

Symptoms......Rough Idel (although I think it is going away)

Poor Mileage.........

Lack of Power ......

Surges while cruising.......

Thats about it. I get boost creep really bad too but I think it is because of the street port and no cats with no computer

Sounds like a **** map sensor to me.

I am guessing though.

the only other thing you should do is get a volt meter from radio shack and check all the solinoids under the UIM.

I doubt that your going to find your problem there thought since you have idle problems.

wait, what type of fuel control are you using?

And what mods have you done to the car specifically?

Yet another problem. I have no fuel control on my car. It has street ported engine, downpipe, cat-back. Thats it. So that might be causing the idle.
