The stock exhaust kicks ass. I just threw it on to see how much better my car would sound. Oh man. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png It almost as though I never tinkered with it in the first place. It's so quiet. Now the turbo is spooling faster too. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png Next thing out the window is going to be the aftermarket engine mounts. I took the torque brace off. Car is riding nice and smooth.

I wonder if the car could make 400hp if I were to run 18psi or better with water injection using the stock exhaust? How sweet would that be, A 400hp single turbo fd that sounds close to stock. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683329.gif

What is it? There aint no way it's quieter than the stocker. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/tongue.png

the OLD knioghtsports dual exhaust.

twin presilensers and twin canister mufflers. dunno if it's quieter than stock, i haven't had a stock one in 8 years to compare it to.

I still got stock exhaust on mine. Can't wait to put my Border Burnout on.

wouldnt the increase in backpressure cause a heat problem in your turbo? I figure it would be quite a workout to push a lot of air through tiny pipes....and by stock exhaust are we talking catback or cat and everything?

I have never been a fan of soild mounts and engine braces in any car, all they do is transmit any and all vibration to the frame and through the car.

its nice to drive the car quiet isnt it?

yeah, i like my stock cat back, it just doesnt look cool, but the cars still fast enough and its quiet

Don't know if there will be a heat problem. I'll ask my buddy at PFS what he thinks. He would know better than me. I never tried a stock exhaust with a large turbo.

I got a down pipe, mid pipe, with the stock muffler.
