Ok Bruce came down andhe needs a vac hose job bad.

The car has stock hoses and we spotted the two hoses for the wastegate and precontrol solinoids right off the bat. Those two were blown off or loose i should say. We replaced those and that didnt fix it so the next logical step is to pull the manifold and redo all the lines. He is dropping the car off with me sometime this week and I'll get it done by Sunday.

Bruce nice to meet you, we'll see you soon.

-Dave

Also, his idle is all jacked up. It fluctuates. He says that it started happing when he added the Power Fc.

I am not familiar with the Power Fc at all. I only know the Purple box. I adjusted the idle set screw but that made no improvement.

Any suggestion? He does not have a datalogit if that makes a difference.

Dave thanks for the help and nice meeting you (I owe you drinks) I got the hid's working once I got home no more blinding people.

I talked to Robby this evening the owner of this rx7 and van you are right he is all show no go . I dont want to tell you what he was going to do untill he decided to go with the hose job. *cough* neon lights . Yes I am working to get him from the rice. This comming winter he plans on getting the engine rebuilt and ported, once he finds a good place. He said he is going to get the parts he needs to go single over the summer and do it in one shot. I guess he tired of problems. Of couse going from a cadillac to RX-7 first stick and all that **** .

Well thanks again Dave I will call ya tommorow.

Just had to send a picture of the engine bay

Well tell your brother not to worry about hose color please. Most of it wont show anyway. Blue is fine.
