I know everyone is in too polishing their intake manifolds and cool chroming them, but i want this FEED carbon fibre intake manifold for a change of pace. and believe me i know when you say fd parts you pretty much say "here goes my life savings" on each and ever part and i accept it over and over and over again. Well i found this FEED intake manifold cover in carbon fiber . and i understand japanese parts are expensive but does no one else make this replica ? i have never done this with my car and buying parts but i refuse to spend somewhere between $400-$600 dollars on a piece of carbon fibre.. so if anyone know who will make this or where to get it cheaper (understatement) please info for me!!!

-thanx

You could ask Mark to make one.

the only problem to that may be getting the mold for it !! i did the conversion and in japan i could buy it for $180 . but like always american market prices for japanese parts is a huge mark up!

There is nothing hard about making a mold of a UIM.

I think JT-imports has the feed cover for around $250.

I bought one from him for around that price if I remember correctly. They are a pain to install though...I'm going to have to grind some more on my UIM to get it to fit properly.

Other than that I love mine.
