I'll keep this short:

I drove an FD for the first time (this one was near stock and F/S) over the weekend and was only dissapointed by the clutch pedal/**** feel.

My Mr2's (even my Integra) are Cable clutch's so the clutch pedal is harder to press down and more "sporty" in that sense. The shifts in the Mr2's were very hard and "clunk"y but you felt like you were actually putting it into gear (and into a slot) instead of just pushing the shifter into a soft pocket.

The FD I drove was originally automatic, had a 22% M2 clutch, and obviously had the pedal/trans etc replaced and manipulated.

So how does a stock FD feel? Is it hydrolic, light and easy to push? Same with the shift ****? I kinda want it the other way around...

If you don't like hydraulic clutches I'll let you drive my jeep for a week in traffic, if you're able to walk when you get out of the ****** then I'll be impressed.

Once I figure it out I will be converting my jeep clutch as well.

FD clutch is nice and smooth, you put a stiffer pressure plate and clutch in, it will become a pain in the ***.

My EF is cable and feels about the same as my FD. Now, my 5.0, it had a pretty stiff clutch pedal feel.

LOL. Well I like tough clutches considering I don't drive in traffic. That's what a DD is for.

I like the tougher clutches because of the feel of getting it into gear, in a sports car, I just thought thats the way it should be.

In my friends accord 5spd, it barely feels like you're doing much of anything.....

I'll see how it fares to the FD I drive later this week that is original OEM 5spd.
