and would you guys recommend replace the apex seals at this time also. seems like a no brainer to me. do it while the engine is apart. but just checking.

you will want/have to replace every seal in the engine.

You'll have to replace it all..

apex seals

side seals

corner seals.. yaddda yadda yadda... but you can reuse some, but while its apart, might as well replace EVERYTHING. Its going to cost a good amount of money... plus you will have no idea what condition your housings and rotors are in..

depends on where you get parts... seal kit runs 900$ and i'm pretty sure that is WITHOUT apex seals and springs. You will save money in the long run.. but i don't see it as a necessary expense.. i'd wait til it blows.. until then enjoy it how it is!

have you checked for exhaust bubbles in your coolant? How do you know the seals in the turbos are bad?

the smoke comes from the turbos, under the hood, and a guy i work with used to work on porsches and rebuild turbos and he checked them out for me, it only smokes from the exhaust when i first start it, other then that nothing..i do smell a sweet smelling smoke from under the hood comign from dircetly above the turbos so thats how i know its coolant.
