Ok, tried the pushing. Didn't work, it was too hard for me to push up the slope, let along get it back if it didn't start. So just got back from wally world, decided to get a battery charger instead of jumper cables.

mine push starts easily..........all my cars did

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it did push start easy, but I was struggling trying to move the car into position, so I went to plan B.

I would also like to add how surprised I was to see so many people at wal-mart at 2am. Back in wilmington there would be no one in wally world this time of night.

curiousity: how do you push start a car? push -> drop clutch -> vrooom?

any details in there?

Hey Foopy, call yourself a rotor freak and don't know how to push start a car?

It just doesn't make sense!

Push, clutch in, in gear, ignition on, drop clutch and hopefully she goes. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/bigok.gif

Well the beast runs again after a few hours of charging.

FikseRxSeven 07-07-2003 04:57 PM

make sure you have it in second gear

it can be done in other gears also.... cuz mine has started before in reverse and first....... but second gear is the easiest.

one more thing, make sure that its now in gear while she's pushing the car
