How Fast Do I Need To Be Going

The car has been sitting so long the battery died on me. I don't have any jumper cables so i'm thinking about trying to give it a push and pop the clutch. But need to make sure my old lady can get me going fast enough. I know on the mini I can push it myself, hop in, and take right off. But i'm not sure on the 7.

Depends. Mine wouldn't restart coasting at 35 mph!! Booster cables are too cheap for you to try messing around with a bumpstart. Good to have anyway.
Buddy in the car club started his Prelude by releasing the parking brake in the parking lot. He was rolling at maybe 3 mph

Well as long as I don't need to be going 35mph, I should be fine. There is a slight downhill grade out here where i'm at, but its not that long. The lights still come on inside the car so there is some juice there, it just won't turn over.
She's afraid of the car, which is why she'll be pushing. I can just see her popping the clutch and doing a burnout into a tree or over the curb.

My old FC had to be roll-started ALL the time when it was hot because it flooded every time I turned it off I got very used to parking on hills!
You only had to be going at about a fast walking pace and pop the clutch! Make sure the ignition is ON obviously!
It was less brutal on the drivetrain to get going faster and start it in 2nd gear... you just get up more momentum and then instead of POPPING it, you let it out kinda medium-fast and it starts up.
Don't push on any metal that will bend or parts that will break... you might not realize it but you're putting a lot of force on a car to get it rolling if the ground is flat.
