if your PPF was cracked all the way thru, you wouldn't be able to drive the car (this is just an assumption from me).

the PPF and driveshaft are the only things that connect the trans to the dif, and if you've ever taken your PPF off (maybe to pull your engine and transmission), you would notice that your whole driveline drops down a few inches. it's not a normal position for your driveshaft, transmission or differential to be in, especially if your driving the car around. i've pushed 2 FDs down the street with engine, trans and driveshaft removed (to the carwash to clean out the engine bay), and your differential will hop up and down, causing your exhaust to jump (i had a racing beat dual tip, which anchors to the dif).

the problem has to be in the driveline somewhere (obviously).

if you had a terrible shake while at idle, it would most likely be a blown engine. i drove my car for a week or two with a blown engine, and it was hell in 'stop-and-go' traffic, but after i got going it was fine, just couldn't rail on it.

JJJ I've experienced a blown motor before...I'm pretty knowledgeable I've just never felt something like this. Today I didn't hear the noise from the clutch area because I didn't take off super slow at any time but I did hear a loud vibration from the bins area at idle when it dropped to ~600 with the a/c on.

just seems to be a lot of loose stuff in the drivetrain do nitto 555s do this?

the car is very tight as far as suspension and the motor is very healthy

49k miles on the car

thanks for the good suggestions
