i usually bottom out but just the edge of my bumper....

it would be hard to bottom out and hit the radiator cuz the sway bars are lower than the radiator.

the coolant was coming from withing the fins.... if that makes any difference

93 R1 09-25-2003 08:17 PM

you need a radiator.

Maybe....it could be fixed but I seriously doubt it

Bulletproof 09-25-2003 08:17 PM

it COULD be the line from the AST to the overflow tank - there is a connection to hoseclamp. It is located behind the radiator right there, and if leaking would appear to come through the fins... possible, but I dunno... If its a radiator :(, time for a new one... and a new belly pan.

FikseRxSeven 09-25-2003 08:18 PM

it better not be time for a new one..... its only 2k old

another thing i noticed.........

the ast was empty!!!! and when it started leaking i saw bubbles in the ast

Bulletproof 09-25-2003 08:21 PM

Hmm... could be good news actually... check that hose! it goes from the ast to the overflow tank.. a little tough to see as it is hidden by the fan shorud, but it almost "lays" on top of the radiator right at the bottom of it
