Has anyone put or used a HKS T51R BB Turbo on a 13B before??



My engine will have modified oil galleries, PTS Seals, Ported, Stud Kit etc etc. But was just curious to know how well they spool up and how laggy one would be.



Any help or comments would be killa.

 

When you look through japanese tuner mags the T51R kai or spl are the most common used. Expect peak hp around 8200 rpm .

 

Cheerz, what rpm do they start to spool up?

Large turbo (about at the limit for a 13B), but one of the best ones on the market if you can afford it.

Maybe a little big for a streetport, could do it with carefull tuning. Will require high rpm (ie: 9000 or more redline).



Know of a few bridgeported guys running them, making 600-650 whp on 20-25 psi.
