Let me just say a few words...

WELL I think I finally blew my MOTOR..
130K original Motor and turbos. and
She finally Gave out.
Driving to work on 495, in 5th gear, I gas a little
to pass this *ickhead going way to slow, I hear
a POP, and lost all POWER. and Car started
sounding like a Lawnmower (for real). and I
automatically thought. Damn Blew my motor.
Car almost stalled going 65mph. But kept her
revving, HOPING to make it to work. Needless
to say. My car was backfiring, barely idling,
and spewing blk smoke. Drove her about 10 miles
on blown motor, Me revving to keep her alive.
Then parked and watched her idle.. Barely staying
alive while spewing blk smoke.. Gave her couple
of revs, to hear her back fire and cough up more smoke.
1st. Can someone get DEMETRIOUS telephone # for me??
I been banned from RX7club or i would do it myself.
2nd. Since my Motor already blown. Can the motor be hurt more by me driving it, Back home?? or to Shop????
The motor is toast, but i can get it started and PUTT PUTT
to my house or shop?? Figure need new motor anyways.
any 411? or do i have to spend more $$ on towing?
3rd.. WTF happened??? I have gone out myway to
make the engine from popping..

okay, I'll do my best here:
1) I have no idea who demetrious is.
2) It's probably safe to drive it home, but stay off the boost! I drove my blown motor across Denver, and it really only sucked at idle. Other than that, it was smooth, just lacking power. No harm done, the mechanic even said it was okay. (he's a certified rotary mechanic, the only one in the city - owns an FD)
3) uh, dude - 130k????? Most people's blow at 60k or so, you got your money's worth. This really should be a post of triumph, that tuning probably kept your motor safe! Come to think of it, only honda motors last past 130k
4) You car *might* be worth $8 G's with a blown motor, assuming everything else is nearly perfect.
5) My buddy just got a full motor rebuild, with a streetport and 1 year warranty, from Dave at KD Rotary - Less than $5000 shipped there and back.

anyways.. I also got other mods and etc I forgot to mention:
Greedy SMIC (thats Stock mount intercooler)
Viper alarm with remote, with auto locks
and Power windows.
and Piaa Foglight Platnium serious.
Did the Fan switch mod.. (to turn on fan on and off anytime)
Sony head unit and EQ with 10 disc changer.
Sony door speakers, infinity rear speakers.
2 8"bazooka subs and 280W amp.
Rear cargo cover
Also got Stock R1 wing.
Also did the 99 spec tail light conversion.
Oh yea and Fire extingisher

He is local to me. Thats why I asking for this #.

if you keep driving it you might fubar your rotor housings if you haven't already. If you decide to sell it send me a PM, i am local to you and am still searching for THE fd. I'll get back to all the people i am supposed to look at cars from when I get back from vegas next week. Goodluck
