I didn't read the entire thread, but are you running without the exhaust sleeves? I noticed the extra couple inches of pipe before the main header flange..



Be interesting to see how that turns out with that rather larger piping diameter...

Yes, I removed the sleeves, after reading about rotarygod's findings when he made his own. It also makes good sense when you think about what is happening flow wise.



The piping is big, influenced partly by the fact that it didn't make a lot of sense to me to put a 2" header on that was intended for street ports, and the fact that I intend to use a lot of nitrous at the drag strip, so it's all about exhaust flow.

Very nice custom project. I especially love how you got creative with the throttle bodies and saved money. I've personally been eye balling some ebay ones myself. Who says you have to spend 500+ for a 50mm throttle body? LOL
