When you smooth over the port with a putty knife it ends up about half a millimetre below the level of the iron surface. So no machining.

yeah, the liquid one should be easier to work with.
Problem is for the centre plate you have to fill one port then turn it over to fill the other. The putty allowed me to do this. Using the liquid I would have had to do it differently and likely would have ended up needing to machine the plate after.

Wow I was just over there not that long ago to get the oil cooler off you, look all the crap you got done now..

Yeah but you had nothing for the TBs or Header done, you just showed me your header idea

Can't you epoxy the passage with it assembled?
I was JUST at my garage inspecting 6 port irons for cracked water seal grooves (from something I was reading about earlier), and I completely forgot to check out the EGR path for you..
