As the title says, I am stumped as to why this is happening.

It problem occurs during WOT. It feels like a bad bad misfire. Huge backfires occur right after.

The weird thing is, right as it occurs, the commander shows the Apex'i boot up screen, like i restarted the car. It happens almost every time one of the misfires occur. Second gear is the worst, in the upper RPM range.

I have changed the plugs (all 9's) and checked to make sure the connections were on tight on both ends of the wires. The wires are on the correct plug (leading/trailing).

I checked all the grounds that i could find on the car, and cleaned them up with some sandpaper. Everything looks normal there.

Ive been talking with jspec about my problem, and we cannot come up with a legit answer. I have done a little tunning with a guy that has a datalogit (wargasm), but the session was more/less just to make sure the maps were safe. I was running pig rich, we leaned it out a little. My a/f ratios were in the high 10's at wot...safe. We had a problem with boost fuel cut, but solved that. The fuel cut felt similar to this, but now it is doing it at lower boost levels.

Could my computer unit be faulty? It feels like the car misses hard for a second or two and then starts right back up.

I am going to get my maps from the datalogit guy tonight, so if i can upload them i will. If anybody could look over them for me i would appreciate it.

My mods are intake, PF intercooler, and full exhaust. Running stock twins @ 12 lbs of boost, suprisingly enough it hasnt been too bad as far as creep goes.

Yeah,

I feel that i have eliminated some of the possible sources of the problem. I checked the plugs, wires, ect, everything is where it should be there.

I know the fuel is there, and my turbos are boosting fine and pull hard (well did)

The problem started after I put the midpipe on and did a little tunning. I didnt get the maps yet, and will do so asap, but they are not far from the base maps.

But i feel that my PFC might be "restarting" or loosing power for a split second. What else would cause the commander to show the reboot screen? So if this is the case, the big question is...why?

You sure you dont have a ground loose somewhere possible off the back of the manifold. Or the ground that used to be connected to the cat? You did install a midpipe did you not?

OK lets start from the begining.

It started the SECOND after changing the midpipe or was it a day or 2?

Also how long has it been like this? One day? 2 days?

After I hear that I think I can help a little more.

Reboot screen---hummm lost... When did the PFC go in? Never happened before? Change your radio or anything lately?

Yes the problem started after i put the midpipe on. It doesent happen every time i go WOT...when it doesent the car feels amazing.

But before i put the midpipe on the car ran really nice (rich, but nice)

It is getting worse the more it happens. At first it would happen every once in a while. Now it is happening almost every wot run. It started a month ago when i put the midpipe on, and has gotten progressivley worse.

I havnt changed the radio. I did wire the boost gauge light to the radio power source.

Perhaps its just a fuse that is going bad, and the connection gets jolted when i accelerate? which ones should i check that send power to the ecu/engine harness

Im starting to think it may be a fuse. I was having a similar problem with the radio. It would turn on when i put my foot on the fusebox above the dead pedal (put pressure on the fuse??) and cuz off when i released my foot. Turned out to be the cig lighter fuse. It didnt lok burnt out, but when i changed it, the system worked fine. Is there a fuse in that box that would effect the ecu power? the "engine" fuse?
