exterior pieces would need a special resin and polyurethane over it... it would be a bit expensive... plus i would have to have the original to make a mold of... and being that i'm a hobbyist and not a manufacturing plant... it would cost a lot....

Oh, and something i'd really like and i'm sure would sell...
If you take apart the PFC commander and mount the screen and buttons to a recatngular peice of carbon fiber and then fit it in the ashtray hole. So basically, a carbaon fiber recangular peice that fits snugly covering the ash tray hole (ash tray removed) and has the holes for the screen and buttons for the cammander.

sounds like a good idea, but it will be very time consuming and costly to make a good mold. have you ever made anything out of fiberglass before, let alone carbon fiber? your price of 400-500 will increase drastically once you really undertake this project
