Hey I have an aftermarket GTR intercooler that I want to install. I sill need to cut off the end tanks and have ones made for the RX-7. Is there anywhere I can buy the end tanks? How much will it cost to put the tanks on at a welding shop??

 

bring it to a machining/exhaust/welding shop and get custom endtanks made the way you want them

 

Will this intercooler fit If I have a stock bumper?? The core itself is 24" wide??

Do you know what these machines shops charge?? I could do it my self at my work. I just don't have much experience with TIG welding aluminum. Plus I need a plasma cutter to cut the end tanks off.

You'll have to try it out yourself I guess. Any welding shop can do the welding.

 

I guess I will be one of the only guys to do this so i can let everyone know about it when I am finished.

I have some I deas to run the piping and how to direct the end tanks but anyone recomend anything particular. I was thinking of running through the center light alot of people do. i would say that it would be the shortest piping too??
