Are you still on stock turbos? If so there is no need to upgrade the bov. Try playing with the spring. Set it in the middle and go from there. It should be set where it releases after you are on boost. If you don't boost it might not open fully and make a fluttering noise.

if you are running stock turbos with stock 10psi of boost, it's not going to be loud

Sell the BOV and get a performance mod. BOV's are like Altezza tail-lights.

I like the sporty tone of the bov coming off when i shift

a friend of mine has an fd with a greddy bov type s he is running stock boost and it is pretty loud

his does not leak though i dunno

i would cheack the bov.

those bov's are NPTORIOUS for having leaks and weak spring chamber gaskets. set it as stiff as it will go, and if it still dos it, return it and get the apex'i twin chamber or the hks ssqv. i have both of htem, ans have never had a complaint from either. OR, since it is not reall necessary, re-install the stock bov...
