Goddammit... Yet Another ******* Problem
#1
LOL... The chrome rings around the gauges ISN'T CHROME. Mine have spots on them... from where someone before me got cleaner happy.... I tried to polish them.... **** ME. It comes right off. THe ring is PAINTED ON A PLASTIC SHEET. What do I do? Can I get a new set you think? Or did I go through the trouble of installing shitty *** Autometer gauges to MATCH something that's NOT EVEN GONNA BE THERE ANYMORE?
Kill me...
Pics to come... when I get home...
I started ANOTHER project...

Stab Your hand, then the guage problem won't seem so bad..
Justin dude, either make some aluminum rings to replace those, or paint the rings chrome with some kind of paint. Please don't install no marthafocking Auto Meter gauges.

no, not rechromed, but i know ther is a place around that does the car gold plating, and it is a similar technique.......but then again, justin, i heard somewhere else that you could replace that bezel alone and they were not too expensive......i do not remember though......try the dealership........

go to a craft store and they should have sheets of silver and/or gold, get some spray on glue and lay a sheet over each part. havent tried it myself but it should work... dont use "crome" spray paint!! it looks nothing like crome.

Eastwood sells that stuff in a spray can. I have bought it and used it on my dads Motorcycle head lamp . It looks just like chrome.
