i've been looking for an s5 t2 for about 6 months now and still no luck, and by now i've got enough money to get a 3rd gen but i dont know to much about them. what model would be best for high hp and high boost? how much hp can the engine handle? i heard the r2 is better than all the other models but after i mod the car will it matter what model i get? thanks for your help.

1993 R1 and 1994-95 R2's are *race* versions. they have the best package from the factory if your planning on modifying the car. no sunroof, no leather, no bose, no BS

yeah but when it comes down to it they are all the same. Stock the r1/r2 have a slight weight suspention advantage, but if you mod the car it don't matter
