For those of you who don't pay attention to your gas mileage, you better start. The gas mileage can tell you alot about how your car is running. If you are numbers lower than what you usually get then there may be a problem with your car. If the numbers stay the same or improve then your car is most likely running right. So word of advice keep an I on your gas mileage. The exception being when you change your driving style(ie. racing or driving like granny).

I usually fill up at the 200 mile mark, put in about 13 gallons. That puts me at about 15mpg in the city. On the open road I usually cruise 80-85 and get about 23.

ive found fds to have an inaccurate fuel gauge...

even after topping off....needle falls below the F hash mark..

Joe Flo 12-18-2002 10:27 PM

I think I found a solution!! I just bought the car and it has had all the fill-ups listed since 99. They just don't look right but I think amp might be right. The needle looks like it moves to fast on mine. Maybe I am doing better then15! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif
