Dude, WTF is going on,last nite my FD's alarm went off three times I ran outside to see what happen, I didn't see anyone, so I went back in.Then Today in the morning, I awoke to a fairly nice day, I even posted a question on the forums b4 heading out to work. As I go to open My Fd I notice that My door looks fukd up. So I go to open it and it won't budge without having to use both hands. I'm so fukn pissed, I knew someone was fukn with my car. Dude Wtf is up with ppl these days. man do u guys think, my door handle can be fixed by a shop. or does the mazda dealer sell door handles. Wait till I catch does ****

I had an FD door handle apart once and it's pretty simple (take backing off from the interior side of the handle and undo the screws). Id try to take it apart yourself and see what is damaged before going any further. Maybe somebody on here has parts? Feel your pain though dude....theives blow.

Fritz Flynn (on www.rx7club.com) im sure has a extra handle that he'll give you the best price used you can find. PM him over on that forum. the FD door handle is a pain in the *** because all it is is 2 plastic holder clip type things that hold both metal rods that connect to the actual opener and the lock mech.

 

Sorry to hear what happened, the handle is pretty simple. Just watch those plastic clips, if they break then you'll have problems.

Im assuming this is the drivers side? If not by chance, i have a passenger side handle for sale. if it is a drivers sid JT-Imports can get you one brand new for cheaper then the dealer.

 

sorry guys for taking so long. Yea my door handle is pretty much fukd, I took a look at it and it's pretty much fukd. Yea it was my driver side door. Well it looks like I'll be buying a new one soon. thnx to everyone who posted and thnx for the info.
