Fuel Pump Ground Question

does anyone know the size of the post that the ground nut screws onto. my threads are messed up and the nut wont tighten down all the way. im thinking if i put a second nut on there and tighten them both it will force it down to where its supposed to tighten to. otherwise im just gonna solder.
