Thats right!!!! Hey Stephen what are we talking money wise

for me to drive to Bham and have you take a look. The car is driveable I guess....... Maybe trailor it........ The last tank of gas only lasted 104miles and I was easy on the gas.. Either way let me know, I have a friend up there so I could be there all weekend if possible. He used to help Reed over at the Turbo shop. He now works for a tint shop off of 65.

2Fast, did you check your MAP sensor yet? It's the small black box on the drivers side of the firewall. It has a small fuel filter, and below that it connects to the upper intake manifold. It is very very common for this vacuum line to come off, and cause the engine to run very rough and rich. I would check that first. Also anytime you smell fuel it's a major problem. Make sure there is no fuel leaking on your car, or you may end up with an engine fire.

I have had the same problem for some time now. I have replaced the 02 sensor, Fule pulsation Dampner and check all my valves in the Fuel Recirculation system. The next step is to check the charcoal canister. Evidently they can stop working after some time. It is located near the fuel tank. One thing to try is make sure your car had all the vehicle recalls performed. The other thing is to contact Mazda and see if they have any thoughts. Good luck.. If I get my fuel smell licked, I will post the solution that worked for me.
