what is the deal with the premix fuel lube Protek R? I was reading on the Pettit site and it is supposed to increase the life of the apex seals. I guess it would make sense, are there any other fuel lubes that can be used?

 

any good synthetic 2-cycle ashless oil, some people use MMO, I'm going to try Royal Purple racing synthetic 2-cycle oil

MMO isn't the same as a two-cycle oil

 

i sometimes run lucas fuel blah, blah....

but, the premix is important if youve taken out the OMP. ive heard/read that you should add a lil 2 cycle oil even if you still have an operational OMP.

 

My omp is still operational so i guess i will order some protek R and mix it in with my next fill up.

 

how much are ya'll mixing? 5gallons of fuel is -- pe-mix.....etc. .....
