for the peeps with this brace, does it really make a big difference?

 

Yes. Smoother shifting. Less power loss thru old motor mounts (or so said) I had a lot of vibration at idle with mine. I removed it. I'll be getting the shock style one soon to replace the rx7store one I have.

 

Actually according to Lost Time who took his Feed one apart its not really a shock, it just looks like it.

if it was a shock it'd be pointless because you'd get the same problems only dampened a little bit. I do remember someone saying it looks like a shock but thats just styling.... like SPO said i think it was Lost Time.

Maybe I am just dumb, but what is being done with the red wire in the first pic???? Where does that wire come from/go???

Just a little damper at idle is all I want. Looks like I'm shock shopping... Make my own dammit. Only needs like a 1/4 inch of absorbsion...
