just want some insight..........



I recently drove my FD for the first time after having a Blitz SMIC upgrade. Also running an M2 stage 3 ECU (13psi). I was cruising on the highway..... slowed down...... dropped to 3rd gear and did a hard pull in 3rd and 4th gear. After backing off the gas and slowing down I applied throttle again. This time the exhaust tone was drastically louder and reverberated through the car. The turbos hardly spooled and the car felt very low on power. After cruising for another minute or so.... I applied throttle again and everything was back to normal.



Now, my first thought is heat soak. Before I was running the M2 ECU with the stock IC and noticed some minor power loss after hard pulls. I am under the impression that an IC upgrade should lessen the issue, not make it worse. If this is heat soak.... won't heat soak this drastic possibly lead to detonation????????



any thoughts...... any remedies..... is this normal ???? I plan on tracking this at Mid-Ohio drivers school in the fall and this will be a hindrance if not taken care of.
