I was just wondering how quick/fast FD's really are.. Can a STOCK FD beat the following STOCK vehicles?: supra TT, skyline (all), 3000GT VR-4, 300ZX TT And if those cars were modded/tuned.. what would happen? This is a dumbass post, but I was just curious.. :smirk: thanks.

i was pretty even with a stock supra TT in my old fd... but he took me on top end... i had beat several VR-4's (they are pretty slow stock.. i used to own a 93 VR-4... it was like my 2nd car, and a 300zx TT as my 3rd car) i also took most stock 300zx TT's... but i cant say i've ever raced a skyline... lol

If I remember correctly... The FD is a tad slower than almost all of those cars in the 1/4 mile, and braking..(I think)

I think it's a tad better in handling, but not as much as everyone says. Personally, I would like to drive one of all of them. The only supercar I have ever owned or driven has been the FD and I LOVE it!

i think that the fd has better breaking then the supra,300zx,the 300gt vr-4 AND the skyline.....sure it may not be as fast stock in the 1/4, but hey,the rx7 is most likely not to go speeding into the back of a truck, all becuase of great stopping power :bigthumg:

The Supras may have you, the rest you win.. toe to toe bone stock.

But better than that put up any 93 rx7 against the 93 versions of the cars mentioned and see what happens

the rx7 was the best factory braking car until the new z06 and the porsche 996 factory cup car came out.. the 60-0 braking was like 102ft.......i do not know exactly, but it [the braking] was FAR superior to the supra and especially the 300 and the 3000gt, in any trim.....the supra always edged it out in all the mags tha ti have seen, accelerationa nd 1/4 mile, as far as the other cars are concerned, it depends on which magazine you were reading as to what the outcome was. some picked the 300 over the fd, and the main set back for the fd was the interior size, and the fact that the others were like gt or touring cars.....

I just bought the magazine Super Compact Car or some crap like that only because their was an article about the FD. Its pretty good too. (recommended to all learners) They talked about the Supra Tt and Z TT. And they said it outdid both cars. They claimed the others where just too heavy for true hard core driving.
