Did you get a new transmission yet?
my car came with a new trans
Then which one broke?
the car had the original 90k mile trans on it when i got it. it came with a spare rebuilt transmission that wasn't installed yet
I guess it was a good thing you had it.
the original trans had a bad 5th gear syncro but either a bearing or gear broke in the tranny. that's also in the list of stuff to do after i get the car back. have that trans rebuilt for a spare
I have 2 broken transmissions from the 91 coupe lying around, but I think that each one has a bad 3rd gear.
N/A trannies aren't as good as turbo's you already know that
Yeah, the NA transmissions are garbage.
i agree. somehow my GTU tranny lasted through all the abuse. even the stock clutch

I'm surprised that your transmission held out ok. How much did you sell the car for?
