Hi guys,

so I bought an FD with a blown engine and have completed the rebuild.. The engine runs great but for some odd reason the rpm Meter, Speedo, temp and stock boost gauge do not work... What's strange is that when I put the car in ignition on only the mileage of the car shows in theshows digital in the Speedo but as soon as I start the engine the numbers also disappear..

Any clues where to star with... Thanks...

If you find out let me know. I thought it was a loose connection behind the gauges but that wasn't the case

In my case the garage that is working on my car was able to resolve the issue of the temperature gauge, boost gauge, and the RPMs but the speedo still does not work... I have hooked up the power Fc today and it also does not show any speed so that means that the issue is in between the speed sensor and the ECU...

Still working on it. Will update if there is any success tomorrow.

Thanks...

Thanks the problem is solved just now.. I wanted to share with everyone. I found this earlier post by someone and realized that the wires are changing colors. This helped the electrician alot to solve the issue

"Look for plug X-14. It's got 14 pins, 1 of which is not used. It's located close to where the main engine harness comes through the firewall above your passenger's feet.

The speedometer wires are yellow / red & yellow / white on one side, and they mate with green & orange wires respectively. Be careful, as the yellow / red & yellow / white wires are used on either side of the plug.

If that plug didn't get removed by the Haltech installer you should be golden. Hook em back up and your speedo should work.

PS. This of course assumes that your other gauges work? "

My speedo and tach only work occasionally and my odometer hasn't worked in quite awhile
