Dear Members:

I just spent the last year and a half rebuilding my 1994 RX7. I started it last week end and got two check engine codes; 12 and 18. They are both for the TPS. I put a new TPS on the car tonight and still get the codes.

Will an out of ajustment TPS give the error codes, or is it the harness? I ordered a current tester online and will not receive it until next week.

Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

My guess would be there is an issue elsewhere if both TPS's spit the same error. It's pretty easy to test if you've got the manual. I would go ahead and test and adjust it per the fsm before I started working my way back from there.
