HAHA...ok, I was like for a minute there.

I'll try to swing by a few stores on my way home from work today...

If anyone knows the exact size for the tap, let me know...I'll be checking around

eletromotive sells a GM temp sensor with metric threads. Call them for info, no tapping needed!

Air Charge Temperature Sensor

That is what I bought.

Corvette ZR-1 to the rescue!

It looks to be 3/8NPT or maybe even bigger. I will figure it out when I get home...

Ok, so that sensor seems to thread into 3/8NPT just fine...

Its definitely much bigger than the stock location and threads.

This is my concern: Is the sensor too long for the runner. I'm visualizing this things to block most of the airflow in the runner.

Somebody tell me that I'm wrong...

Thanks. Yeah, it's definitely 3/8ths.

Did you tap the stock location on the under side of the FD UIM?

I am worried that this sensor would block the airflow in the runner, because it is so big...

I was directed to Ebay, and the seller name "buyefi". He sells the sensors w/ metric threads.

Now I just need to find out what size thread is on the FD UIM...anyone know?
