Have the FD and Clifford alarm for years. Last week the factory alarm is giving me problem. The horn and light just suddenly went off(but not the clifford), i was able to stopped with the clifford. Left the car without arming the clifford, and later it went off again, and was able to stop it with the clifford(arm then disarm). Had a similar problem last year for a week that the horn and light going off and clifford was't able to stop it, had to disconnect the battaery. After that week, it stopped happening until last week.

Need help to disconnect the factory alarm or suggestion.

I have the same problem once in a while, I would disarm the alarm and when I open the door the factory alarm would start ringing. I hate it , then I would close the door and shut it off with th door key. I would also like to know how to permanently disconnect the factory alarm.

 

Check in either side kicker panel and look for the wire color of Light green/black hook up your aftermarket alarm to disarm it.
