This goes out to all who have gone before....

I have picked up an Autometer Air/Fuel gauge and have seen that there are two possible ways to install - one being on the passenger side hooked up to the ECU and the other through the firewall to the Oxygen sensor?

Who has done this? What route have you chosen and why?

thanks,

kmaot

well no matter what anyone says... it's the same wire in 2 different places, same voltages, same everything. So obviously the easy way is to tap into the ecu wire. When I hooked up mine I tried both spots for arguments sake. My gauge is a digital# readout not the led bars. I had the same exact #'s in both spots, so I speak from experience

Sounds good to me. I mean, you can't beat a readout that gave the same numbers from 2 "different" sources.

I will likely go with the ECU route.

Wish me luck.

thanks!

ECU route here. But I will be replacing the disco lights with an EGT gauge VERY SOON.
