I'd rather get a dual tip so I could keep the stock look. I know the JIC should produce a little more power than RB dual, but I don't know if I want it if it's going to be too loud.. but the JIC's I've heard so far don't sound too bad. If I got the RB or JIC would there be any point to get a borla race muffler?

I would have to say another good sounding system to consider would be The GReddy SP.

Although I have only heard it once, It did sound pretty deep at idol and WOT.

I wouldn't mind hearing some more of this set up if I could again, If someone has a clip?!?!

cheers

Shawn

ran pettit downpipe and resonated midpipe with the old rb dualtip catback (larger tips)...

quiet on idle and cruising.....only noticable on wot....this is the setup teknics is referring to..
btw..

ive swapped the same setup with greddy sp...

could not discern of any decibel difference in comparison with that of the RB dualtip...

main denominator is the resonated midpipe...

[QUOTE]

The basic use of a muffler is to quiet the exhaust down, correct? So.. if I eventually get the Borla.. extra quiet..?!

I was running the Pettit single tip catback system it was pretty quiet around town with a nice low rumble. I never had anyone complain about it being loud and i never got a noise ticket which is common in my area.
