I would recomend them. Buy top of the line for your application. And make sure that application.

I like my ACT street/strip with SR flywheel. I use my car for auto x and it performs well. Scared the **** out of me the first time I drove her with it. Much grabbier than stock. Unless you're making massive power, an ACT should meet your needs.

I just changed out Calvin Wan's Excedy tripple carbon clutch. Very nice unit, but junk if you are trying to drift! Definately good clutches though. Calvin is now running the Blitz Twin Disc with the push conversion. The Blitz unit in my opinion is the dopest FD clutch made.

I have the Exedy Cromoly Flywheel and ACT Xtreme Disc. The combo is just right for Street driving. Much more and it would be a bitch in traffic for sure. I am a fan of the Exedy stuff for sure though.

Exedy clutches are quality products but you can find an appropriate clutch for much less from ACT. I currently run and ACT pro Lite Flywheel with Street Clutch Plate and Disc.

SR motorsports uses ACT. Go search 685whp on youtube.com and you can view a 685whp FD3S also utilizing ACT Products.

And for the record, Im a dealer for both ACT and EXEDY clutches. I use ACT in my own RX7s and recommend them to my friends. But i still SELL EXEDY because I make more money off selling them and some people just love to spend more money then necessary.

I actually remember having a 1/2 hr. conversation with Ray Lockhead about how 90% of drivers buy "too much clutch" for their application, meaning most people buy something that is way more "racing" oriented then needed.

ACT recently came out with a six puck SPRUNG assembly, you should look into it! I will be using this next time i need to replace my clutch! FYI: i believe this clutch is good for upto 450 torque and believe me you will not be making more torque then that.! the 685whp fd on the video i mentioned make 470 torque so unless you think you're making more than that then ACT should be ok
