I am trying to figure out the proper way yo conenct the OEM R1/R2 oil cooler lines, this is what I came up with:

-OUT from front of block IN to smaller block connection on passenger oil cooler

-OUT from Larger block conenction on passenger cooler, IN to smaller block connection on drivers side oil cooler

-OUT from larger block conenction on drivers cooler to the return line going to the oil opedestal

Is that correct? Thanks!

the diagram i have doesn't include the passenger side cooler, but it should still work for you.

Oil comes from the front of engine to the large block on the cooler, out of the small block to the rear of engine. Your description has it backwards.

AFAIK, both coolers have a Tstat in them, so the Inlet should be on the large block for both of them.

the "IN" lines should still go to the large blocks on the cooler either way though.

Hmmm I understand that, but they are not going to line up right. I will have to get you a pic to show you what I am talking about. I had just pulled the lines from the car to see if they can be flipped around and there is no luck.

Also if I remember correctly, I was just looking at the single setup I have and it routed the same way as I described IN to small and OUT from large. Maybe the oil diagram is wrong, or the way it is pictured is hard to tell???

Do you have the duals?

I have the diagram from the FSM, I may try and see if Ray Crowe would know, or if some with the oe Duals could chime in that would be great `

Here are the pics

And the single would be routed the same as the dual.

after looking at those pics.... it seems that my diagram is deceiving. I think you were correct in your first post in this thread.

SO I guess I had it right, thanks amp! Do you have them? If so I have a question for you does the line going from oil cooler to oil cooler does it hit the back of the fan shroud?
