I need suggestion on which DP is the get. Price isn't an issue as they are mostly in the same price range. I want good craftsmanship, quality and ease of installtion. Since not much place selling them except from the internet, so I won't able to see the real product before i buy it. I am thinking of M2, what do you guys recommend.

I have to go with you on that. I can't see any reason one would be any better than the next. Just go SS.

there are some varying differences...

in ease of installation, o2 port location and construction...mandrel bending...complete ss to include the flanges..welding...etc

i only have experience with pettit and can recommend them...

most people go with either stainless or ceramtic coated.

stainless last forever and looks cool

coated will reduce temp drop of the the exhaust gases for higher flow.

A compromise that I like is getting a good stainless and then wrap it up with fiberglass wrap.

and while you at it wrap the whole exhuast that what the pro's do

I actually have to disagree with everyone here. Stainless cracks under high heat...and we all know that FD's put out some serious heat...especially the stock twins. I also do not recommend rapping the downpipe as that will increase exhaust temps. If you have an EGT, the temps will be thru the roof.

I am interested on the DP you mention. So they are in comparable quality with the M2 and Pettit? How much cheaper compare to the real deal?

I agree with you when you wrap the exhaust, it certainly has a better flow with higher heat but it has a tendency to crack the pipe too. I will go for SS and not going to wrap it. Since I won't be pushing the car to the limit all the time, I don't think I will crack the pipe.

they are the real deal. they are made by the SAME company that makes the ones for pettit and m2. i assure you that the quality is good. the cost is 200.00 + ~20 for shipping.....this is the same pipe that pettit sells for 299.00 + shpping. the mid section is 175.00.....all stianless and good to go....
