Where can you get a downpipe gasket for the stock twins, without spending a rediculous amount of money? Dealer price is like $150~, what's the deal with that?

Yeah, that's what my buddy got for his '93, but two of the nuts wouldn't tighten down all the way and the gasket burned up, so now we're looking for another one.

My price for that OEM Mazda gasket is $99.95. Contact me if you're interested. Thanks-

Call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda. He should be able to get you one for about forty. What kind of noise did it make? Was it the ghetto exhaust noise or just a whistling?

Ghetto exhaust noise, of course. We took the y-pipe off to replace some of the vacuum hoses with silicone ones, and it's easy to see that the dp isn't flush with the turbos. I got new studs and nuts, just need the damn gasket. Do you think if I call one of the companies that make their own downpipes if they'll sell me just as gasket?

No. Cal Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda and have him ship it to you. He'll give it to you much cheaper than any other dealership. Just enter Malloy Mazda on google search to get the number. he'll get it to you quicker and it will cost less/

Ray is a good guy, but I will beat his price 95% of the time- Give the RX7 only business guy a shot- I'll make you a believer.
