Ok, here is what happened. I was coming back from white castle at 3 am. Was almost back to my friends house when I hit a patch of black ice doing about 50-60mph. Back end started heading out off the road. I was countersteering and kept the front on the road. All I saw was a big tree comin at me......... .BAM....... (missed tree). Ended up taking out a 6-8in light/phone/electrical pole, a cement/rock landscaping wall, and a mailbox. The pole got split at the base and now resides bout 5 feet away from its normal spot, it is being supported by the wires and the big tree I thankfully missed. My passanger said he swears if he was with anyone else he would be dead cause they would have lost their cool and wrapped the tree. This makes me feel a little better since the FD is back off the road. After contact I kept my cool and kept the thing straight and on the road. Now I know why sports cars get parked for the winter. I had it out cause we got up to the mid 40's (which melted the snow) and then dropped again that night to below freezing (which made that friggin thing called ice).

Got new 1/4 on the way, thinkin I might just buy a new front fender, its only $135. I am just glad hatch is fine. Suspension looks good just think I need an alignment. The pic of the wheel shows some of the phone pole shards stuck in my tire when it broke the bead.

Nothing a little "Bondo" wont fix.. Actually, it looks pretty bad, but once you get the rear quarter welded on the damage will look like alot less..
