yup....and have been for almost a year now.....i know.....but ****, if you KNOW how your car runs, IT IS REALLY NOT THE PROBLEM that EVERYONE says it is. yes i popped a motor, ONCE, 2 fd's 5 years of track driving, and no other worries.....and ****, i was spiking to 20 psi when i blew....NO BOOST CONTROL THEN EITHER.....
now i know better....i am biding my time for a power fc, and will get the new injectors and rail that i have installed then too....and the ignition.....and a lot of other goodies i am not disclosing at this tyme.....

Sure it can be done, but the motor won't last long like that. With full exhaust and intake you will not be able to control boost. All it takes is one good spike. I don't think I believe the 310 rwhp at 8psi. Did you back up that run? Seams way too high. Too often I hear how someone buys an fd, mods it without sufficient knowledge, and then has to sell it when the motor blows and can't afford to fix it.

Yup. The banana is going to blow up.
Get that damn fuel computer... get a midpipe and be done with it. For godsake!
BTW Have you guys ever seena rotary when it blows? I havnt. What happens?
Like for instance. revving out to 8k than boom.. I mean it's not like anything can fly outa the engine... right?

One or more apex seals crack or shatter. Usually they come out of the rotor and gouge up the housings. Often the rotor is dented from the detonation and has pieces of apex seal imbedded in it. On top of that the turbo exhaust wheel is often chewed up when the fragments of seal exit the motor. If you are real lucky the seal will just crack and stay put, not scratching anything.
