ok now that i have my midpipe most likely i will be having boost creep.

i want to get started by porting the wastegate. how hard is it to take out the turbos???1 day job?2 day? and i have a dremel. will that work for porting the w/g with a carbide tip???if you have ported your w/g. gimmie all your info. thanks mucho

i would do the pipe and see if you creep before worring about it to much. I have a midpipe, and enlarged exhaust ports and I didnt bother with the wastegate. I use a turbosmart manual controller and I have never had any boost creep issues.

Thats not saying you won't. I am just saying wait and see.

a tip when you port the wastegate...



Spraypaint (or some marking spraypaint) over the wastegate hole with the flapper closed. Then you will know how much you can take off when porting the wastegate.
