How hard is it to change to a TII style? I still have the stock diff. in my car and I want to replace it before it blows my entire rear end apart. I am debating between a TII or a KAAZ for mine. How much was the TII and would it be more beneficial to buy the KAAZ, is it stronger?

the kaaz is a little stronger the main benefit is kaaz usa can repair a damaged kaaz unit. i happened upon my TII diff. you can find them used pretty cheap. how much do you want to spend ?? lol

Hmmm....nothing. 
I would like to spend as little as possible but still have the strength and relaibility to be able to drag my car and not break **** all the time. I have decided to trailer my car to the RX7Revolution because I am guessing something is going to break, this way I can still bring her home with me. I will be running 17psi on a stock rear end; axles, diff, ppf, tranny, etc...so I am sure something will not come home alive. If I can repalce them before I go, then great, but if not, oh well. How much do they go for and can they hold up to drag racing pretty well? I am hardly ever hard on my car unless I am racing. I don't go around doing donuts, burnouts, etc.. for fun. I street race on occasion and I drag race as well. I would like a to get some new axles and diff before I go to the race, but we'll see what the wallet allows. The credit cards have given up on me and I won't use them anymore. I have already spent too much on them. I need an ITO around here to fix all my **** when it breaks. All I got is me and my freinds and we are some lazy ***** that only work when we have to.

I was dumping the clutch at around 6500rpm with my twins....I can't wait to see what I do to this single. I don't lift to shift either. Hopefully I don't break anything. Nothing broke before....except the engine....so I should be ok.

I hate slipping the clutch. What if I use ET streets with softer sidewalls, do you think that will help the diff? I am assuming it will help the diff but hurt the axles. I use drag radials right now. How much was your diff? And how hard is it to install? I may buy one before I go to the track. I still have 2 months to get my **** all done so I have time unless it is really difficult. I have never touched a rear end before. I have done turbos, motors, trannies, etc.. but never a diff. How bad can it be?
