so i go cruisin today and after about 30 mins my bat light my abs light and the temp and oil light pops all all at once.theres no buzzing and i checked the fuses and there fine...wtf???

i guess you're lights are on as if you have the key turned to acc?

 

no..the lights are on while the car is running.

 

possibly your alternator crapped out. I know in the FD when the alt goes, the battery and abs lights come on, maybe your car is super special and all the lights go on, If you have a parts store near you like autozone, stop in there, they will check the alt. for free

so the guy at autozone tests my alt. he said that he didnt even get a reading from it...so its blown i guess. then he told me it would cost 234 bucks!!!!!wtf is that right??can i get one cheaper or use a 2nd gen alt.??? help

took out the alt. today.and i think im gonna leave the airpump off. and get underdrive pulleys.how long can i drive with the main cat on with the airpump off?

 

Don't run with the main cat and no air pump. Just put it back on for the time being. I can have that alternator rebuilt and polished for $135.
