My car sat for about 2 months and now my horn has a mind of it's own. I have to disconnect the battery for it to shut up. it just blows on its own. Anyone here who's had the same problem before? dont know if it's the steering wheel horn buttons or the horn itself. steering wheel is still looking good...! have no idea what it is. guess im going to have to buy the wiring diagram for the seven and try to figure this **** out.

mines did that, but now it doesnt. i disconnected the horns though and sometime ago i changed the steering wheel but didnt connect the horns back. when i was under the car cause the lower rad hose was leaking i plug the horns back on and it wasnt doing it anymore.

chack the wires by the horn maybe their grounding out or something.

do you have the stock alarm insatlled on the car? mine was doing that everynight for about 3 months and eventually someone called the towing company on me and the car was gone. long story short it costed 400 to get it back from impound and made me decide to finally do something about it. i got tired of disconnecting the battery everytime i parked the car so i took it to mazda, and numerous car audio and alarm shops, with no luck. after weeks of searching i found out that there was a cpu for the alarm that could be unplugged and disabled. if you take off the driverside kick panel where is a cpu box under there with 2 white plugs going into it. the lower plug is a 20 pin connecter, and i think the upper plug was something like 8 pin or 6 pin. just unplug both of those and wala. no more annoying random horn. the horn still works when you press the horn buttons but it wont randomly go off anymore. and the doors still lock and unlock the same. if that doesnt work i dont know what to tell you.
