They would be for a 3rd gen. Very similar to the K2rd rails, but probably about $30-50 cheaper.

I'm just trying to gauge the interest to see if these would be worth my time.

If wanted I could do a rail+1600's for alot cheaper then RP or anyone. I got the hook up on injectors.

Let me know who's interested

How much are we talkin about Justin?

RussellTT94 10-23-2002 12:34 AM

yeah, i'd be interested in just the rail, without injectors

93 R1 10-24-2002 05:57 PM

The K2RD rail is $220 so I'm shooting at about $170-$190 w/o injectors.

The rail w/1600's is going for $415. I'm shooting for about $360.

This is just a guestimate though. It all depends on the amount of interest. The greater the demand the cheaper the price.

rxrotary2_7 10-25-2002 11:12 AM

wouldnt the total be more along of $328

2 160lb inj = $138

rail ($190)

total=$328

greater interest = greater price. not nesecarily. rail stock is still $20 a foot no matter how you look at it. same with material for posts and allen head bolts. and more time is involved in making more rails.

i have secondary rails available now. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

well, th3e trick would be to have it be a complete drop in application...

and if you're going 1600cc bosch injectors...using a stock wiring harness will NOT yield drop-in installation https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/dunno.gif

rxrotary2_7 10-25-2002 02:53 PM

yeah, explain this "drop in" application.

r_xplicit 10-25-2002 04:10 PM

you know. it would be "NICE" to have a rail that fitted larger injectors that would just "DROP" in.........no cutting, drilling, or special tools needed......

i can see the banners flying now.......
