Crazy Sensor
#1
have a problem during start up in my FD.
my check coolent light comes on almost every time I start it cold.
light/buzzer usually goes off after engine comes up to operating temputure.
dealer has been no help (as usual)
and yes there is plenty of coolant available.
I have most of the stanard mods as well as an rx6 single and fluyodine radiator and apex AVC-R and apex ecu.
Any ideas...
XXXRacer, thanks

where are you checking that the antifreeze is full? There are 3 places. the thermostat housing, the AST tank, and the overflow tank. with the car cool(preferrably overnight), in the morning, the ast tank should be full and the water pupm housing should be full. The sensor is in the waterpump housing, mine would do exactly what yours is doing, and it was becouse it was not full to the top.

hmm well my biggest fear is my water pump dying in some highly inconvient place
(like 100 from nowhere at some poker game) had this trick happen before...
8 to 9k and a PFS street port later I do not want to repeat that experience
I am checking the level at the overflow tank when dead cold
thanks
